I always wanted to do something in the field of Cows. This idea came to my mind in1998 when I read a book published by Gayatri Pariwar on how gaushalas or cows are the backbone of the economy written by Pundit Shriram Sharma Acharya, popularly known as Gurudev, who is a big source of inspiration to me. The readings of the book really inspired and motivated me internally to do something for the society with the help of cows. But due to some obligations by my parents, I had to complete my education first and become independent in order to do something on my own and therefore couldn’t do much back then. So, once I was financially stable, I realized that it was time for me to get active in this field. Also, for a very long time I was worried due to the cow smuggling and slaughtering, which is unfortunately so prevalent in our country. The society is suffering from a lot of perils, namely, unemployment, poverty
and health, especially in the rural areas. Cow has the untapped potential to solve all these social issues and this is what led me and my wife to do something in this field and give back to the society. According to us, cows are the most useful animals on our planet. We feel that cows have the solutions to all problems that humans face, whether it is self-reliance, health or Dharma, our Indian Desi cow contributes in all aspects of human life. They have the potential to make us independent. For example, whether it is fertilizers or medicines, we are heavily dependent on others and import in large quantities from foreign nations, when we ourselves can make all this from cow dung and urine. So, I feel that with a little help from others, we can protect our sacred Gaumata and leave a lasting legacy for our coming generations.
